I’d like to welcome you to a 4 hour CPD session on the use of stones in counselling. This will be aimed at qualified and trainee counsellors who are interested in an interactive small group training environment with discussion and practical application. It’s your choice on your level of interaction. With theoretical teaching alongside the creative interventions and experience based learning. All materials will be provided for the day. Refreshments available throughout the day.

This is a small group three hour CPD session, with only 6 places available. This is about self care and support, using clay to enjoy exploring creating something fun and engaging with each other as we explore the clay. We may decide to create items for use in the counselling room or explore a supervision style element to the creations, each course will be different and enable attendees to discuss and explore their personal projects. The session is open to qualified or trainee counsellors who are interested in an interactive small group training environment with discussion and practical application. The sessions will be a confidential space to explore whatever questions you would like to bring and allow the clay to facilitate the discussion.

three hour CPD using Pashminas in counselling with opportunities to experience using them for yourself. The aim of the day is to provide you with all you need to start working with clients using pashminas to explore constructs of self, their phenomenological world and some Jungian architypes. You don't need many to start, using squares of fabric works too and they are easy to transport. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a wonderful artist using acrylic paints and gold foil, with only 6 places available. The aim is to create a Christmas painting that can be used to gifting or photograph and make into cards. The most important thing is we will be using paint to enjoy exploring creating something fun and engaging with each other as we paint. The equipment is provided and the cost reflects this.

Sand tray training with opportunities to experience it for yourself. The aim of the day is to provide you with all you need to start working with clients using the sand tray to explore constructs of self, families and stories. Providing you with ideas to set up your new sand tray and exploratory items. 2 hours with Roddy Macdonald as he shares some of his story and shows some creative ways of working with men in counselling. The Men's Mental Health training will look at the following topics: My Story Depression and Suicide Using Creative Techniques with Men Why Men Struggle Emotions and EO Guilt and Shame Questions and Answers

This is a small group day, only 6 places available. All sessions will offer elements of theoretical teaching alongside the creative interventions and experience based learning. All materials are included in the cost of the event - up to 20 stones, paint pens and acrylic paint. There is an opportunity to create a limited set of stones and take them home with you on the day for you to varnish.

An open day for counsellors or trainee counsellors who are interested in Deep Release, either becoming part of a Regional Training Group (RTG) or want to buy some creative tools for counselling. There will be an opportunity to talk about training days and see this new venue in Kent. Pauline Andrew will be here to sell her amazing cards and books, there will be other creative products for sale too. RTG will aim to meet 4 times a year with some change in days, with a purpose of supporting each other in experiencing creative interventions to use within counselling sessions. The creative element will come from the many areas Deep Release has trained over the years. Participants aren't expected to attend each RTG.
